CHARACTER: The TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space) || Sexy || Idris || The Ship || Old Girl || Dear Old Thing || Dear
CANON: Doctor Who
CANON POINT: Series 6, Episode 4: The Doctor's Wife. Just before her human vessel dies.
Though, if it's okay, she will have knowledge of the future up until the 2022 special: The Power of the Doctor. All future information that pops up after that episode will go through a canon-update.

BACKGROUND: I'm terribly sorry for this history

ABILITIES | POWERS:
Being stuck in a human body limits a lot of the normal TARDIS abilities, such as actually traveling through time and space, especially as she's a person and not a ship. Sure, she can pass off the power to another TARDIS' bones, but she can't do it with people or other items. She can also see and exist through all of time and space, like an all-knowing being. However, due to the fact that they're in another universe, and she's been cut off from hers, it's not nearly as strong as it could be. This ability will be like a wild card with her human mind, and she can see either into the near future or very distant one.

Her precognition will be limited even more to the point where she can only rarely see what people are going to say in the near-future or have a random big one with plotting. She will not be able to see into people's past (retrocognition) without mun permission. I would love to play with this ability with modly help, not all of the time, but every once in a while to avoid some possible tragic fate.

Language: She can speak or translate any known language from just about any world across the stars. While she can do this for other people who have stepped inside the TARDIS, it's not known if she can while she's a human. So maybe it only extends to the people who have been inside the TARDIS where they developed a telepathic link.

Telepathic: To go hand-in-hand with her precognition and retrocognition abilities, she's rather telepathic and can form a mental link with anyone she wants. This allows her to talk directly into their head to give them information and even allows them to communicate back to her. Again, only with mun permission.

Technology: Since she's technically a machine with enormous amounts of knowledge of the universes tucked away inside her head, she can build or operate most technologies at an advanced level. Even build things from pieces of scrapped objects.

Power Transfer: Due to the fact that Idris is a vessel for the TARDIS's power she can lend that power to other objects, though she's only done it to another TARDIS console to give it the ability to go through time and space, so it's more than likely not going to work on any other devices. If this works on anything, it will be things like the Doctor's sonic screwdriver to fix it or give it new settings.

Replication of Sounds: She's capable of perfectly replicating the sound the TARDIS makes during materialization and de-materialization and I suspect she could make other sounds such as the Cloister Bell that rings as a warning, as well, but it's not anything TOO special.

Energy Transference/Overflow: Now she can pass her powers off to a human, but that would kill them, so she won't be doing that at all. Ever since the walls of the universes were cut off, the TARDIS doesn't have nearly the power she does normally. There are times she's even come close to dying, so her power isn't nearly as strong here in this universe, which means she should be able to sustain her own human body much longer than she would have otherwise.

PERSONALITY: make sure this ties back to the character’s time point and background.

SAMPLE: one or more samples to showcase the nuances of your character’s personality. Submit at least one prose sample of five comments or more. You can link memes, PSL or other game threads, provided they took place within the last 12 months. You can also write a sample in the game or character canon setting, or a top level with enough variety to show how the character engages in various scenarios.

INVENTORY: No world-breaking items. For living or magical beings, or anything colossal (think... Gundams...) please let's talk beforehand!

NOTES:

Because the TARDIS is basically the heart, soul, and most of the power of the ship version stuffed into a human vessel, that means so much power that it will burn through the body in a matter of a few hours. However, I usually have it so that being away from her home universe and the invisible "walls" that are put up around it mean a good majority of that power is beyond her reach. This allows her to keep some of her abilities, while making sure her new physical and squishy body stays alive for extended periods of time. After all, the ship version is powered by a dying star, and that's not near her in this world.

For another option, I'm happy to go along with her taking some sort of medication that keeps her power from quickly killing her human vessel. She's not nearly as powerful as her ship self while in the limited form of a body.

IF ACCEPTED, WOULD YOU WANT A PLOT-LIGHT OR PLOT-HEAVY CUSTOM INTRO?
Plot-heavy, definitely.
